Harness on RF 6 Disk changer
Hello all,
I have been reading on Titantalk for months but this is my first post. I hoping someone can help me out.
A couple of months back, I purchased a 2004 Titan LE Kc with the Rockford Fosgate 6 disk changer stereo in it. Over the last few week, I purchased a new stereo sytem to install in it. I did tons of research on here and had a pretty good idea of what I needed to do. Here is what I purchased: New alpine V-Drive xm ready stereo, alpine xm tuner, Nissan Wire Harness receiver from crutchfield(2 pcs.), A Scosche OEM Adapter for the titan(also crutchfield, and oddly enough...it came with the doubledin bezel for 39.99??????), and a new XM mini antenna.
I installed the antenna and that went fine. I removed the bezel cover of the rockford fosgate unit and removed all the screws holding the stereo face and all switches, that went fine. I removed the stereo unit itself and that went fine. Ok, so heres the question. There is 5 plugs that go into the rear of the RF system. Crutchfield has sent me only 2 harnesses. A big one and a small one. Can someone tell me what all 5 harnesses are that plug into the original stereo. I have 2 harnesses that fit and I assume that otheres might be for the steering wheel control and the speed sensitive volume.
I know that I will not be able to use some of this stuff and that is fine. However, which of these harnesses goes to the amp. My alpine is a V-drive system with 60 watts per channel and I dont want to plug into the wrong harness. If anyone can help, that would be great. Thanks in advance.
