I was denied a rental car because I didn't purchase extended warranty. If you guy's don't have this you should talk to your dealer to find out if you could end up in the same boat. If you did buy extended warranty I am curious as to what you were charged. I now have 24,000 kms and the truck has been really good since the big fix.

You must do a fair amount of driving - Is this mostly highway or city - and what is your gas mileage. Did you notice any improvement in the gas mileage as you drove more ??? Right now I'm getting about 18.5 MPG (highway) and around 14.5 MPG (city).
I never purchased the extended warranty but when I was looking at it, it was going to cost around $2,500 so I said I'll take my chances.
