dude do not take the chance take my word for it they told mne the same thing when I bought over 12 cans
it cure fast (turns black) it the material they use to make it lesss viscuous is toluene (they sure didnt tell me that when I was buying it)
if you have ever had chemistry---toluene is a very emissive hydorcarbon--very nasty stuff--not somthing you would wnat in yoru car
so yeah they may have changed it after I blasted them, and theraatened a lawsuit ( im wiating till summer time to see if any remnat smell returns)
but I woudlnt take the chance
teh vb-1x is far superior a product, 1) its water base 2) you cna use a paint brish 3) its less messy the spray knobs on those cans SUCK it gota ll over my rear seatbelts ---I have to buy new one) 4) it wipes up fast if it gets somewhere you dont wnat it to 5) it goes on pretty easy and when it dries it runs blue so you have a visual marker of when it is fully cured
please amn retun that crap immediately do not mess up your new vehicls as the owner SUCKS she takes no resposibility for her stuff. the only reaosn I go any helpo was because one of her tech smeeld and was honest enough to admit that the batches were bad
but get this they she even lied towhere I bought them from trying to get themt o not issue me a full refund for the cans
IM not completly bitter as I wqoudl highly recommend the VB-1x (although raammat new butyl mat is the nicest I have seen so far since brown bread got so expensive)
just trying to save you the hearthache I wen through when my friggin 2 months old car smelled like my chemsitry lab I couldnt even drive it for like a week
