Mine went Saturday with 3,700 miles on it. Took a small amount of gear oil at 1,000 miles. No burning paint, whining, smell or any symptons. About a week before, it made a very occasional 'thunk' on turns. Dealer will install an '05 rear with 75-140 synthetic.
I believe what some others have said, it's probably either good or bad from the factory. huh mine was bad so I get a new ***
. I hope this one is good cause if it's not I'm gonna break that one too
