um, actually, this is the EXACT same way of lifting as the daystar ... longer coil (or a spacer to push the coil down) will accomplish the same thing ... the shock will ride closer to its top out point thus allowing it to top out and break.

only way of doing it without breaking something is with Greg's coil spacer ... which is exactly the same as CST, Fabtech, and Procomp do for the lift (just in a smaller size). Now, you can replace the coils with a factory height or 1" taller made by Hypercoil or Eibach and probably get a MUCH better ride as you can get various spring rates, but adding a 2.5" longer coil will net the same result as Daystar.
