I just had my truck in yesterday for the first time for brakes (or any problem for that matter). And they told me I got the permanent fix. I can't understand that I would the first time around, but I agree with your findings-my brake feel like a whole different brake system. No mushy pedal whatsoever. They stop the truck without me pumping them.

I looked at the rotors and calipers. They look new and the rotor looks like it has more stopping surface than the rears, but that may be normal anyway...

Either way, I'm glad you got yours' fixed right.
