What are you comparing the Titan too? Each brand has their own problems:
F150 Bad rear is more common than on Titan and 2005 Titan fixed rear problems. Slowest in class, handles like a caddie. Heaviest and has only 4 spd trans available.
Silverado Last place in the class. Don't know how chevy sells any besides deep discounts to fleets. Oldest, most out dated, weak puller, engine head gasket and brake issues, reliabilty issues.
Dodge 1500 Breaks down more often than any other in class. Some Titan owners had them break on test drives.
Toyota Tundra: Toy being the operating word here. Not a full size choice, it is more a 3/4 full size truck. Half the payload/tow rating of others in class, old update, smaller physically, slow and underpowered with smallest weakest engine in class.

Titan problems: Brakes (being replaced for free with new updated parts that fix problem and parts will be standard on all made after 5/05.
Rear, fixed in alll '05 models
Rattles. Common among all in class, most if not all gone by '05.

Its now a second year vehicle and most of the bugs are gone. Fastest, one of the strongest pullers, good ride/handling, and good off road capability. Price isn't bad either and reliable as heck.
Its easy enough to discount a truck for another because of "percieved problems" but if you don't know the whole story, you could go to something with worse problems instead. Hope this helps.
