I'm confused... When I bought the truck it made that noise from the get-go.. I've never owned nor driven a foreign model truck, so I thought that might be normal... loud fuel pump or something to that effect... Now all of a sudden the noise stops! Now I'm wondering if something is wrong.. oh yeah, it's the sound of the damper opening (or closing)(now I know since I've read several posts about it) whenever you turn the key right before you crank the motor up. Could something be wrong now that it doesn't make that noise any more or could it have fixed itself(I know that sounds crazy, but anything's possible) maybe worked itself in since I've only got 700 miles on the truck as we speak...

Please, if ya'll have ideas please let me know. I'm taking it to the dealer regardless, since there's a broken piece below my headlight that they're gonna replace.
