I personally experienced that it's quicker off the line (less tire spin and less "bogging") and once I feel the tires start to gain traction, floor the throttle to let the engine spin all the way to 3600 RPM (the max oem torque rpm) and more depending on your engine response to your intake and exhaust mods.
I have never dyno'ed my truck but I try to make my mods complementary to each other. I have an appointment to change my rear catalytic converters to 2.5" straight flow resonators in 2 weeks so ... let's see....
