Also, the brake fluid is still at the "MAX" mark and I haven't had to add any fluid. The brakes still feel great. It feels like I'm driving a smaller car, with much less pedal travel to stop the truck. The truck stops much more naturally and easily.
With the old lines, I had to use a lot of pedal travel to stop, and found myself not using enough pressure and slamming the brakes at the last second. These new lines have removed that problem. When I'm stopped, the brake pedal is only at 1/3-1/2 of it's maximum travel, and feel much firmer.
For the price, I'd definately recommend it, up there with the PRG leveling kit. This mod is almost a no brainer for the price (~$150), and with teflon tape and NO leakybleeders, should bleed fine the first go-around. Anyone who asks if they should do it, I will tell them HECK YEAH! I'd recommend this mod before any others.
Anyone that wants to drive my truck around the park at the May 22 meet for another comparison is free to do so.
