I recall an occasion many moons ago when one of the members decided to post a thread complaining about a decision Chris had made....as nice a guy as Chris was, "calling him out" was not a very smart thing to do....Chris gave the guy a seven day ban to reconsider his actions.
When the member came back, it didn't take long for them to become friends again. Everyone has made at least one post that they regretted. We're all human. The rules are pretty straight forward. Most everyone seems to have little trouble following them.
I agree with TYTAIN that a general slur against one of the mods, or any member, even without mentioning them by name, reflects badly on our community. A specific complaint concerning an action should be reported as 37L1 has outlined.
If you think someone has a serious personality flaw that you just can't stand, flame away about it in a PM to one of your buddies. They'll either laugh with you in agreement, or set you straight without having to embarrass yourself in public.
