I’ve decided to show my support for HonderMotorsicklePagerDaddy and his new voluntary forum obsession. So this essay will detail the purchase, maintenance, and ownership of my Titan.
Back in August of 2001 while I was purchasing my 02 Frontier I mentioned to the Sales manager that it’s to bad that Nissan doesn’t build a full sized truck and he told me that they were, and that it should be in production in 2004. I told him that was great and that I would be back in 2004 to take a look.
Three years and 104,000 miles later it was time to trade the Frontier. I had been lurking at this site since April of 2004 so I knew that the Titan wasn’t a ¾ ton truck but from all the accolades I knew that it was something I had to see. As soon as I drove onto the lot I knew I had to have one. Picked her up on 08/11/04

She is a bottom line black XE 4X4 with the preferred package, drop in bed liner, mud flaps, floor mats, and tinted driver and passenger windows, and now has 28,000 miles on her. I live in the country on a dirt road so she seems to always be dirty.http://www.titantalk.com/gallery/sho...cat=500&page=7
I’ve been to the service department once and that was to have the radio and 4 lo light T.S.Bs done, along with the seatbelt recall. That’s it. I run all synthetic oils. The only change I’ve made to the truck is the addition of a stock hitch, Airhog air filter, and neoprene seat covers.

She has made my quality of life so much better. This year alone she’s hauled a total of 15 trees and 3 trips each for mulch and compost from the County extension office.http://www.titantalk.com/gallery/sho...cat=500&page=3
The winter snow and ice storms were child’s play to travel through. Also, let’s not forget all the toys she’s hauled home.http://www.titantalk.com/gallery/sho...cat=500&page=6

I’ve owned a lot of vehicles in my life and this truck will have to be at the top of the list. She’s been a pleasure to purchase, maintain, and own.

Anyone wishing to cut and copy sections for their own Essay should feel free to do so. I did.
