yea 4 ohm for a 4 ohm amp is fine.

Problem with JL W6's is the stupid 6 ohm coils. You can run 3 of them in parallel wires for 6 ohms each and it will have a total of 2 ohms which you can't run either. This is why W6's are generaly run in sets of 3.

I think you could also buy a new amp like a Hifonics Brutus, that is 1000 watts @ 2 ohms and 500 watts @ 4 ohms. So I dunno what it would product @3 ohms probably someplace in between. abotu 750 watts?

It is also cheaper thant he stealthbox.

What I don't understand is how your going to fit that sub under the rear seats?

Also JLW6 V2's are supposed to be alot better than their older ones, you might consider just getting new stuff for your new truck.

I have 2 12W0's im going to have to ditch.
