Heres what happened w/my brake replacement

-Called the Nissan dealer after seing this thread and the Word doc. that is attached. Service person said this is the first they've heard of this 'bulletin' so I emailed it to her. She was pissed that customers are seeing this stuff and they aren't, so she confirms all of the info listed on the bulletin with district people, etc..

-I call after about 3 days(since they didn't call me like i was told) to follow up and she says yes, all the info is legit(as if I typed the sh!t up myself). Says to bring it in and what they will do initially is turn rotors, put on new pads and torque members, then go from there and see if that helps.

-I take it in next morning. Get a call about 2 hours later. She says, bad news the rotors are really warped and are too thin to turn, they need the new replacements. Says rotors could take a week to get in. I say fine, just give me a rental, so i get on '04 F150(not a bad truck but i'm so glad I got the Titan instead).

-Get a call later that day and she says after talking to the district Nissan folks, they are going to expedite the new rotors to them. Should be in next morning(which is today June 3).

-Get a call about noon today, June 3 and truck is ready. Brakes feel really awesome, nice and tight, unlike before.

I've attached the service reciept for you guys to see what they replaced. Feel free to print it and take it to your dealer if you'd like.
