mitch, I didn't have it installed. I did it myself. And yes, it works just fine. Sound quality is equivalent to CD - maybe better. The N-Bus cable (part of the titan's wiring harness) plugs directly into the receiver. So does the two-plug antenna splitter, then the antenna plugs into the splitter. I ordered my receiver and antenna from TitanParts247 (which you've probably noticed is one of our sponsers) in mid April. Jamie told me the receiver was on Nissan's backorder list. He shipped it 3 weeks later. TitanParts247 is Marlboro Nissan near Boston. Perhaps that's what your dealer means by "hard to get".
