Hi Gentlemen and ladies. First off, I'll let you know that I'm a Moderator over at FTE and my opinions spoken here are my own and not representative of FTE staff or anyone else.

First, I'd like to thank Armada for his polite and thoughtful responses here and in the FTE forum he frequents. Well done. I see Armada's posts frequently in one of the forums I moderate.

I would like to address the issue of FTE folks trying to set up an advantage for the Ford. ( And I will also address this with the folks who are in charge of setting up the ralley.) I have grown to know a lot of the users on FTE and have found them to be as honest and trustworthy as anyone. I'm quite sure that you all feel the same about each others integrety here, also. So, I would be in hopes of as fair a competition as possible. I have even made some suggestions as to additions to the challenge, such as pulling a weighted trailor a certain distance..everyone pulls the same trailor. Also, I asked the committee to see if they can get a tractor pull sled.

In any case, I'm glad to see such interest in the challenge and hope that some of you are able to attend. The owner of FTE fully plans on posting the results and videos on the site. And no... Ken is an honest man...as I would presume the owner of this site is. Would the owner of your site, believing in the Titan as strongly as Ken believes in the F150 really edit or cheat to try to prove a point? That wouldn't be proving any point, it would only make each other look like idiots.

The point of the challenge is that there are some Titan owners who have come to FTE and bragged up the Titan, so the challenge was issued. Hey .. I even suggested that the committee contact some of the Truck mags to cover the event ... and I do know that FoMoCo watches FTE's posts. FoMoCo has nothing to do with this ralley, but I'm quite sure they wouldn't want anyone to do any cheating, either.
