i guess the point of this thread (again!!) is escaping me....what part of 'more hp' and 'more torque' dosen't the f150 guys understand? the stock titan beats the stock f150 in catagories that matter......so.....the only point of this pissing contest is what?
the dynos mean, all things being equal the titan will beat the ford EVERY TIME unless there is driver error.
its not like we are just making up titan numbers and hoping our truck could beat another truck, READ SOME MAGAZINES PEOPLE! i really can't imagine if i was a ford owner wanting to go up against a truck that i KNEW had more horses and torque....
the only thing i could see remotely making sense is if 2 stock trucks could run the same tires/pressure and pull a light sled either on dirt or pavement. that would seem to be a fair test of each ones ability, not this bumper-yank-a-thon.
in reality, i thought thats what these magazine 'head to head' things are about anyway and NUMBERS DON'T LIE....but DRIVERS might!!!
even if the titan won the yank off all we'd hear from good old boys is 'yeah, but if MY truck would have been there.....' i will say it again 'this thread and challenge is LAME'!
