Not good. Bose artificially inflates the mid-range to make their units sound louder than the actual wattage would indicate (hence the saying "no highs, no lows, . . . it must be Bose!"). Their products are almost universally despised by audio purists - it may be the only thing they all agree on! Plus, I've heard (but not experienced) that removing a Bose system for aftermarket replacement is a giant hassle.
