That does seem to be the consensus. I spent a good deal of time on the AV Sciences forum before I bought some of my home theatre components and I noticed how poor a rep Bose has amongst the audiophiles. That Bose refuses to publish specs just adds to the bad rep. For some reason, many Audi owners (and older Maxima people) seem happy with their Bose car systems but most car people hate 'em - a much higher % than here dislike the Titan RF (which seems closer to 50/50).
