To make your life easier for your proposed mod, purchase two Scorscse adapters, NN03 and NN03R. One of these plugs into the HU the other into the wiring harness. The purpose for each wire is included in the wiring info that comes with the adapters. You can wire these one to the other and it gives you a good means to tap off for the LOCs going to your extra amp. Another plus is there is no splicing, cutting or tapping into the existing wiring harness. Some dealers may declare your warranty is void on the audio system if you have modified the wiring somehow. With this 'jumper' you can remove it and return the configuration to stock, leaving no trace of what you have done.
