Well I installed the eclipse. Soldered all connections, check to make sure it was working before I plugged it in. Tested CD's and radio. Everything worked.
Right now I'm running to stock speakers off the HU, I wired them in Series using the nissan wiring harness so they are 4 ohm Mono, This is temportany untill I get my amps hooked up. I may leave the rears in mono for filler sound in the back since I can't hook them up in sterio since they are only 2 ohms.
Anyways, I'm having a serious issue. As you can see in these pics the HU is a great match for the titan looks wise. However it does not fit!
When I hit the open button to change a CD it will not open up all the way. The HU's face moves down but it hits on the bottom part of the Metro Adapter, the plastic trim piece right above the place where you cna keep CD's....
I need some suggestions or advise here.
I don't think I can return the CD Player to Good Guys now that it is opened but they sold me a unit that does not fit!
Hard to explain but it is the mechanical arm on the HU that hits. I guess I'm out $300 on this CD player eh? I can't think of any ways to modify it to work besides removing the Metro Install hit and just having an open Bezel that looks like ****.
