Ok 2 problems, even without outer ring (I think I have to remove the whole bezel again, and when you do this the green clips pop off and are lost in the dash (anyone know where to buy these green clips or do I have to buy a whole new bezel to get them?)
So I likely won't be able to re-install thbe bezel form my experience with removing the stock one.
Second in order to use the Eclipse Trim piece (which looks good) I have to use some of the other mounting hardware the CD-Player attaches to, If I use this hardware I can't fit the side pieces onto the HU and without the sidepieces there are no clips to attach the CD Player to the Metra mount.
On your alpine does the trim piece pop onto the HU itself? Or does it pop onto the mounting hardware like mine?
