Mine just popped on like every HU that I had before. There was no special mounting hardware, it just snapped on.
I'm not sure what green clips you are referring too but I would bet that they don't have the own part number but are lumped in with the bezel. When I took mine off I didn't loose any....anthough they did pull away from the bezel a little bit. You should be ok if you take your time.
