Im thinking I can cut off the front of the side tabs (the plastic sides that come with teh METRA) that hooks around the front of the HU, this would allow me to push the HU farther forward. If I have to go too far I won't be able to use the Metra bezel but I may be able to find a way to use the factory one (Maybe some glue or something) or maybe I can install the side brackets that came witht he HU, after removing the front part of the Metra one (this is where the interfearance was). With the stock slide clips I may be able to mount the stock trim piece instead of the Metra one.
