My dealer called me yesterday in the morning to tell me that my new brakes were in. I brought it in at about 10:00 am and picked it up at 3:00 pm and I was grinning from ear to ear.

They turned the rotors for me a second time on June 7th and they told me that I was 5th or 6th on the list for the new brakes. I was shocked that I got a call this quickly because they told me that their most recent recipient of the new brakes was "on the list" for 7 weeks.

They replaced the front rotors and pads, resurfaced the rear rotors and replaced the rear pads as part of the "permanent" fix. I have noticed a big difference with respect to pedal feel. It's not a "squishy" as before. The brakes seem to grab much quicker.

I have to say that I'm happy that these brake woes are finally behind me because I really love my Titan. After 7900 miles that's really the only major thing I've had problems with. I do have the door rattle, but the parts are on order for that and it's really nothing more than an annoyance at this point. Besides, I can always just turn the radio up a little louder.
