No offense to the thread starter here or anyone else, but regardless of what the specs say, what the box says, what the salesman says, there is no product that you can purchase at a best buy/tweeter/ultimate electonics, that can put out (or handle if were talking about speakers) more than ~300w.

RF is especially notorious for this, if you checked your amp out I would bet hard cash that unless you jacked it to put out dirty power you would never get over 100w.

To put this into perspective let me tell you about my Krell home audio amp (home audio is a little different but the analogy works) is 250w at 4ohm x 2 channels. It cost $10,000.00 and wieghs ~200lbs. Look at that amp, and tell me your 4lb 10"x12"x2" RF has twice the power.

Again I am sorry to rant and mean no offense to the thread starter. I just want to offer a little advice, Don't trust anyone selling anything.

well ok then......i have had previously a Rf 800 watt amp pushing two 12's. by your reasoning, if they were only getting 50 watts then thats more then enuff! they hit incredibly hard. my frieind had a 400 wat phonix gold amp puishing 4 xmax 10's that hir VERY hard. I doubt he was pushing them with a 100 watts.
perhaps car audio is built muchdifferently then home audio?

i dont know much about home audio at all, but i know for sure that he dudes at car shows pushinf multiple subs with a few amps areputtingout a helluva lot more power then you say.
