Here's a quote from a member at another site; this guy is a service advisor for a Nissan dealership...fwiw. I had heard previously that all 05's with build dates after 3/05 had the new brake kits, but may not be so according to this guy.


"I just heard some news I think everyone will be interested in..My manager has told me (he just had a big meeting with Nissan "big wigs") Nissan believes 95+ % of the brake problems are the pads..not rotors on titans and armadas...So they are going to start just replacing pads soon and save rotors for customers with the problem that has been more on going..But the biggest news is....New titans being produced still have the old parts on them..Nissan is saving all the new parts for customers that have purchased the truck already..So, trucks being made as we speak on the assembly line are getting old parts!! They didnt tell him when the switch would be made..I know I have posted that I heard april they were putting new stuff on but I was wrong..So, heres the updated story so far.."
