WOW! I had a big Ram dually like the red and white one, but that honker is GOING... Mine would shove you back in the seat... but with the stickshift, you'd run out of revs before you could really get her going. These guys have to have some serious custom gearing, perhaps in an auto so they can get the shifts in quick. Mine didn't take lightly to slamshifting. Doing that to the stock gearbox is playing fast and loose with your next four paychecks...

THINK of all the weight you're shoving down the road at that kind of speed - almost FOUR TONS and it gets REALLY impressive. I had a Banks kit and a VanAaken box on mine, and it would really go -- in comparison to stock. I surprised a couple of guys with it in the midrange, (dump the clutch on second to launch) but once you got to about 50, it started to be all over.

But I guess this is kinda like making the comparison to my old Beetlebus that I stuck the Porsche motor into...
