you can drive your truck around without the sway bar if you're careful. Just onbolt the side that's effected (or both if necessary) and zip tie the end link out of the way. Just realize that if you change lanes at seventy mph on the freeway and hit a seam or bump at the same time you could be in trouble. Many people disconnect their swaybar anyway to allow greater travel of their front suspension.
