Those speakers should work just fine if you can get the right amount of air to them. I use an older version with the single voice coil. I hate that. The dual voice coil show the am a 2ohm load from each, bridge them. This will show the amp a 1 ohm load. It tricks the amp into working harder, and you will not have to turn the amps gain up so much. The one I use is the MTX 801D. This is one bad Biatch. You can get a EBC for about 20 bucks. This is a remote control for the gain. You can sneak it up to the drivers seating area, and change the level to your liking for each song, without leaving the seat or messing with the audio controls on your HU> I would recommend a capacitor though. It is one hungryu amp when the music is up. I would also recommend LARGE leads from the battery and a better ground strap. Then put in a Optima and you should be golden.
