Avid shooter here too and here's my pair of Colt 1911 45 ACPs: Custom 2-tone Gold Cup National Match with daytime laser and a polished SS Gov't model with Tritium sights. Both are fitted with Smith-Alexander magwell with checkered mainspring housing, titanium trigger-commander hammer-firing pin combo, Caspian extended cartridge extractor, Wilson beavertail, full length spring guides, lower rated springs, extended mag release, extended mag bumpers, checkered alumagrips, etc.etc. Haven't had much time at the range due to too many ongoing projects.
