Used to be. Stopped making them in '98. So for 8 years they haven't made anything with any balls. Sounds like a company I'd like to buy from.

As for if Supra was a super car, no.
When it went out, Vette was faster, and RX7 TT, 300ZTT(Still fastest Nissan) was a tick behind as was the 3000GT. Supra cost the most of these except for the Spyder 3000. All of these cars would have handed an EVO or similar its butt. The Supra in the test quoted earlier must have been an auto or something as the manuals typically hit 0-60 in 4.9-5.0 seconds. Looking at http://www.edmunds.com/used/1998/toy...nav..6.Toyota* shows this.

As for super cars, no. However it does illustrate how little speed has advanced(actually we go slower now) than we did in the early 90s. If Nissan, Toyota, and Mitusbishi had kept up, they would be 0-60 in the High 3s low 4s, quarters in the low 12s to high 11s, and pulling well over a G like the current vette is, which is cheaper inflation adjusted, than a vette or any of the others were in '98..
