Today's hp is crazy. My ideal sports car is still a porsche 911 RS, and more realistically a 914. Anything over 2000# isn't a sports car. But hey, obviously I'm a dying bred!

Now back to Toyota.....
HP isn't where its at. Not a good representation of what a car can do. High HP just means you can go fast top end, not accelerate fast. TQ gives you acceleration. EX. My Vette has 300 HP/300TQ. It goes 0-60 om 5.0 and quarter in low 13s. A new G35 has the same HP, better aerodynamics, less weight, and goes 0-60 in 5.8 and quarter in low 14s. The difference is the vette has a ballsy torque monster v-8 motor vs. a high reving v6 and the result is it spanks the G35, and just about any other non-v8 with a few notable exceptions like 911.
