Has anyone swapped-out their belt fan for the aftermarket electric fans yet? I've looked at some sites about doing this. It's about $400 and supposed to be easy to do. Supposed to increases your HP, TQ, and fuel mileage.

I'm just wondering if it would function as a normal electric fan though. Would it shut off when you're driving, then turn on again when you stop, or does it just stay on the whole time? Does the regular thermostat control the fan speed and determines when it turns on and off? Just confused!
