Yeah, I got the gen 3. I bought through streetbeat in phoenix and had them pricematch hopupracing.com. They did not have any in stock so they drop shipped from Volant to me. $255.

With the hood up you can really hear it working with a big sucking sound.

I talked to Volant before buying and they said they will have a new version in a couple of weeks. Basically a metal lid instead of the fake CF. They said there will be no performance difference so I opted to get the current one now rather than wait for cosmetics

My understanding of the nismo intake is that its basically an AEM rebadged.

I went with Volant because of the sealed box and I figured a plastic tube would stay cooler than metal.
