Its a great combination. The upper a-arm will allow full extension of the factory strut and interferance between the upper arm and the coil bucket will be solved. It has been done on a lot of trucks and it works great. You will need to extend the sway-bar end links, but that hardware come with the a-arms, and I would recomend a limit strap to keep the shock from ever over extending (like stock) but you will maximize the potential of the factory shock with this set-up and the results are great. Plus, you will be set to maximize the lift with a coilover later and can go an inch or more taller with ease.
