No premature wearing out of the struts, they will see the same exact loads as stock, they wear-out plenty fast on thier own. We have done alot of testing and no extra wear on any components (ball joints, cv's, bushings, etc) with the 3.5" kits. Nissan gave us a great truck to modify.
K-mu, i have a limit strap upgrade for your application now, it does require you to drill a 9/16 hole in the front of the coilbucket though. This will be an option with the leveling kits very soon. most people never notice the the noise, but this upgrade is for those that do alot of off-roading or like to jump curbs. It will be around $50-60, the kit will have 2 limit straps, new (and stronger) lower shock bolts, and the mounting hardware for the upper strap mount. These can also be used later with the upper arm and/or coilover. I m selling these kits for cost just to make sure my customers can extract the most performance from thier trucks.
