The rear diff fluid was in really bad shape by the time I drained it at 9k. It is possilble from the axle overheating from towing to the bad fluid the seal may be damaged??

Since I drained the original oil I have stuck with synthetic and frequent changes, I even put the finned 2005 cover on a few months back..

I may wait closer to the 60k mark and see if Nissan upgrades the seal between now and then.

Do any folks with the 2005 finned cover and synthetic fluid have any seal leaks??
