Hey Wings............are you aware of the huntable elk population here in Kentucky? The season is open to non-residents who apply and receive one of 100 coveted permits. The beast is thriving in the eastern mountains and the State fully expects the season to continue expanding.
I have been sending in my non-refundable $10.00 fee for the last few years, but alas, no success as of yet in being drawn. Maybe you're luckier than I am. Give it a try next year. If you're drawn, I'll put you up for the trip.
