I got a set of new pedals for a christmas present. My sister bought them from Autovation.net (the competition series). Has anybody installed a set of these or any replacement pedals? Did you remove the brake,emergency brake, and gas stock pedal covers and then install new?
I took the truck to a body shop and they installed my new nerf bars and pedals. When I picked up the truck they had installed all the pedals over the stock with black screws and no nuts holding them on. I didn't pay attention to the hardware in the box (thought everything was silver to match) they came in but I have a feeling they didn't bother to read the directions in the box. I really got that feeling when I realized they installed the gas pedal upside down!
Knew I should have done this myself.
On a side note, the footrest seems awful small with this set.
Any help would be appreciated.
