I bought an 04 that was made well to the end of the run of 04s. That truck was (is, ‘cause I am sure it hasn’t changed) the BIGGEST piece of garbage I have ever had the displeasure to own. Customer service, vehicle service and Customer Care were non-existent or useless! Ended up having to sue Nissan via the lemon laws.

Nissan had a hell of an advertising campaign, but they did not back this up with a reliable product, good customer service, availability of parts and training for technicians. I have been very vocal about this. I have met others who have been vocal about their experiences as well. This has an effect, not sure if Nissan realizes that or not…
