Re: Replacing Door Speakers Help

You can power off of the deck with some aftermarket speakers and it would be an improvement over stock, but getting an amping them would be much much better.

How much money are you looking to spend?

I would focus on the front speakers, and leave the rears alone for now. Best sound is achived w/o rears (fade mostly to the front).

A decent pair of speakers for the fronts will run you anywhere from $200-$600, depending on what you want. A decent 4 channel amp (you can get a 4 or a two, depending if you want to amp the rears or not) will run you $150-$2000 depending on what you want to do.

What amp/subs are you currently running? Are you satisfied with them? These questions will help me make suggestions based on what "level" of equipment your looking for. I.E. if you spent $300 on your amp and subs I don't think your ready to blow $2500 on amps and speakers...
