Re: Question on Jettech's spring mod.
Yea, not planning on getting 20 sets, just making a point. If for some reason the helpers wore out over time or broke (?) which I don't see happening, that I could just get another pair and not be out almost 500 bones. I'd be out say.....$47.08 as opposed to $484.00....NOt downing anyone by any means, just making a point. I have had no issues w/ the helper fix at all or anyone that does.t believe in it. Like I said, it improved my handling and feel tremendously. I'm sorry you had to remove yours, I guess everone is different and every truck is diiferent. I know I had very bad axle wrap and it was more of a nuisance than an actual performance problem. The constant clunk at acceleration and stopping was nerve racking to say the least. I just can't see putting down almost 500.00 for an issue that I was able to solve for 23.00. Different strokes for different folks. If ya got it spend it cuz ya can't take it with you. I do not have any type of lift or suspension upgrade so maybe the spring helpers aren't worthy when you upgrade to better shocks or a lift, I don't know. I know they work for me and I do not consider them a band aid, that's what someone else referred to them as. I was using their terminology for effect.
I hope your suspension upgrade goes well and you enjoy it, I know you will. I've heard nothing but positive things about PRG products and Greg. Best of luck and post some pics when it's complete so we can share in your excitement....
