Ford did help design it,but they don't assemble the engine in Kentucky Truck Plant,or atleast from what I've seen. The Navistar UAW workers assemble it, and Ford installs it in the truck.
Only a handfull of plants assemble the engines,mainly the Windsor plant,and maybe one in mexico,Im not sure on that one. Do they still build those POS ranger motors in Cologne, Germany???
