If that toyota was out when I was shopping, i'd may have gone that way. The thing is Nissans/Infiniti are more towards the handling/performance side vs. Toyota/Lexus which goes towards refinement/luxury. I like the 1st a little more.
If Honda made a V8 and didn't make that ridgeline butt ugly that would have been a good middle ground.

I agree, remember when the tundra first came out all they offered was a V-6, same as the Honda.
Toyota's have always been top end machines. Nissan goes for low and midrange. And that is where the Titan really shines. My old '87 Nissan Hardbody V-6 drove the same way. I remember coming back from Lake Shasta towing my 2500 lb boat the '87 would steam right past a 4-cyl Toyota truck going up mountain passes.
Oh I am sure that the new tundra will outsell the Titan. Toyota will most likely be Numero Uno in the world by the end of this year.
But I didn't buy a Titan because of it's annual sales. (if I did I would have bought a Ford) I bought it because it's a Nissan. And 5 years down the road I will still own it. I don't jump ship because something better (perceived) comes along.
OK let the flaming begin
