I for one do not like the factory running boards, I have a 2005 LE with off road, in 2005 the trucks came with the running boards, they have a factory finish that absorbs oil and leaves spots, I have since gone with a set of aftermarket ones. As for the ride, I have never driven a non-off road but compare to a 2005 4x4 F-150 they ride smoother, but not as quiet. The tires do make a little noise. I have the nav and simply love it. When I was buying the truck I said I didn’t need that stuff (nav, DVD, sunroof) but still went for it, I use them all on a daily or weekly bases and having them built in is real nice. I have a van for work so this is my toy/family vehicle so I went with everything. I love the truck, expect problems with the rear end and maybe the front brakes but for the rest of the truck, you should expect a nice tight ride. Go for the Titan and have a blast.
