New MAF - all air sensors - SES light Exhaust ??

OK you Titan Gurus - heres the problem - a combo of General Discussion and Performance Mods.

Last week the Dealer replaced the MAF and all air sensors under warranty saying they were corrupted by oil from the drop in K & N filter [it's been in over 2,500 miles]?
For history see
http://www.**************/modules.ph...5&hig hlight=
and
http://www.**************/modules.ph...1&hig hlight=

The SES light came on again yesterday, 5 days after all new MAF and other sensors replaced

Did ECU reset numerous times and it reset but shortly thereafter SES light back on.

Took it to dealer today.

Dealer concluded the 2.5 inch replacement exhaust pipes for the OEM 2nd-ary CATS were poorly fabricated [both sides were leaking at the gasket]. The shop used double gaskets and high temp sealer.

Dealer Tek said the O2 sensors very sensatitive and may be causing a problem in the A/F oxygen recogninition - in turn becoming SES or other issue.

Other CT memebrs report none of these problems!

It seems when the CATS are replaced with quality fabrication there are no SES or A/F problems.?

The dealer has one tek whose panties are waaayyy tooooo tight. He blurted out "we're breaking the law evening working on this because the [2nd-ary] CATS are removed."

Ironically, on the way to the dealer I did two bonzai WOT runs to about 90 mph. Stopped did the ECU reset and the SES light has not come back on since.

Following that the dealer spent 2 hours chasing down the problem and double checking A/F oxygen ratio.

So what to do?

I guess the safe thing is re-install the OEM CATS and see if the problem goes away and the dealer is happy?

Spoke with the muffler shop, told him the story, he's willing to "fix" the 2.5 inch exhaust pipe - make it right.

Maybe the strategy is best accomplished by
1. First replace the OEM CATS;
2. After being in good graces with Dealer and all SES and otehr problems go away;
3. install the corrected 2.5 inch exhaust pipe?

Your thoughts?
