Here are a couple of pictures of my in cabin filters. They are 14 months old with 14k miles. The green stuff is insulation from the dash. The white stuff is the actual filter rotting away. There was a lot of dirt/dust trapped in the filter, but it is hard to tell with all of the debris.
The filter was a little moist, but that is to be expected as we are near 130 inches of rain so far.
Bottom line check your filters if you have them. KC don't come with them unless the dealer or you install them. CC come with them. I was wondering why I was having to turn up my fan to get adequate air flow!
