Re: Squeaking Seat Fix
I had the same passenger side squeak issue and brought my Titan into the dealership 3 times.
The first time, the Service Manager told me that the TSB didn't apply since I didn't have the fold flat seat. This is crap since I have the captain's chairs.
The second time, they could not reproduce the squeak.
The third time, I emailed the General Manager and demanded that the Service Department fix the issue this time. When I brought my Titan into the Service Department, I had the Service Manager come out to my truck so he could hear the squeak himself.
Needless to say, after a bit of complaining to the right people, no more squeaky seat. I also had the new front brake pads installed (mine was squeaking at 1750 miles, so the dealership just turned my rotors) and I will have the extension hose installed on the AC drain once they get the part in stock. I was also given an Altima to drive while they had my truck in for service.
All I can say is to be persistent and don't give up. Could I have fixed this problem myself? Probably, but when I spend over $30K for an automobile, I expect the dealership to fix all my issues (big or small). That's what the warranty is for, in my opinion.
