New rear axle assembly installed today, maybe final fix for seals?
Mileage - 10769 - left rear axle seal leaking, had already installed new finned cover with synthetic oil. Seal replaced.
Mileage - 13022 - left rear axle seal leaking again, dealer replaced seal along with "axle seal sub-housing".
Mileage - 26707 - left axle seal leaking for third time and also "clunk" in drive train. Rear axle assembly replaced. Service rep mentioned wear on spider gears.
Will post this info at nhtsa.dot.gov. Still love this truck, just hope that leaky seals and juddering brakes are a thing of the past.
